Cardiawave announced the first routine clinical use in Europe of its Valvosoft system since its CE mark regulator clearance in late 2025. It is a noninvasive, high-intensity ultrasound therapy to fragment leaflet calcium in severe symptomatic aortic stenosis, and I is aimed at patients who are not ideal for surgical or transcatheter aortic valve replacement, or who decline surgical intervention.
